Organized Village of Saxman ARPA Assistance Grant Round 10

Do you need assistance towards your utilities or assistance with getting groceries? The City of Saxman now has Round 10 available to residents in need of assistance.

Beginning - August 2^nd, 2022 

Deadline- August 29^th, 2022 by 5:00 PM.

The City of Saxman is now accepting grant applications to issue money for those in need. The City has one grant available which grants one per household. This grant provides assistance up to $750.00 per household. This grant allows the applicant to choose where they would like the assistance applied. The options include assistance with electric (KPU), fuel for heating (Petro Marine/Arrowhead/Delta Western), credit towards Water & Sewer bill and/or a food voucher (A&P/Safeway/Wal-Mart).

Applicants will specify which accounts they would like the grant assistance applied to along with the account numbers. The grants are specifically meant for people in a high risk group who are limiting their exposure to the public and are experiencing loss or hardships due to COVID-19.

In order to qualify, residents should fill out the application.

Applications can be found at The City of Saxman office located at 2841 S. Tongass Hwy or you can complete an online fillable application with the link below! For residents who need assistance filling out the application call The City of Saxman (907) 225-4166 ext. 1 and the application can be completed over the phone.

Once verified, the applicant will be notified that the voucher is ready for redemption.

**For those residents that choose to have assistance put towards their electric or fuel for heating we will need an account number!**
